    Clifford E. Galbraith VFW Memorial Post 7127 Scholarship - Available to seniors who are direct descendants of Active Post 7127 members and who have been accepted to and will be full time students at an accredited post-secondary institution in the fall immediately following high school.  Deadline is May 1st.     Cayuga Counselors' Association Scholarship - Available to seniors in the Cayuga/Onondaga BOCES who plan to major in Counseling, Psychology, Education, Health Occupations, or Social Services.  Deadline is April 21st.  Cayuga Counselors' Association Scholarship

     

    The Cayuga County Bar Association Scholarship - Available to seniors residing in Cayuga County and who submit an essay of no more than 1,000 words.  Deadline is April 25th.  Letter explaining what the essay addresses was emailed to all seniors and is posted in scholarship book. 

     

    Moravia Sports Booster Club Scholarship - Available to seniors pursuing further studies at a college, trade, or a post secondary school who participates in Moravia sports/clubs.  Deadline is May 1st. Moravia Sports Booster Club Application

     

    Millard Fillmore Scholarship - Available to seniors who have maintained a B average, participates in volunteer/community activities, and plans to attend a college or unversity after graduation.  Deadline is May 1st.     Moravia Volunteer Fire Company Scholarship Available to students pursuing further studies at a college, technical, trade or a post-secondary educational institution.  Deadline is May 1st. Moravia Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. Scholarship

     

    Wayne Clark Memorial Scholarship - Available to a graduating student who wishes to pursue a career in Automotive Technology.  Deadline is May 2, 2025. Wayne Clark Memorial Scholarship

     

    Moravia Community Scholarship, Fred A.Wheat Scholarship, and The Alice Kenyon Sharrow Scholarship - Recipients will be chosen for each of the three scholarships.  Applicants must be a senior in Moravia and will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and citizenship.  Deadline is April 25th.  Moravia Scholarships Application

     

    Women in STEM Scholarship - Available to female seniors who have excelled in classes and/or extracurricular activities in the STEM field and will be pursuing a career in the STEM Field.  Deadline is May 2nd. Women in STEM Scholarship

    Sabina Kulakowski Memorial Scholarship - Applicants must be the child/step-child or grandchild of a Cayuga County Local 806 member who will be chosen by scholastic ability, ambition and initiative, moral character, financial need, and extra-curricular and community service activities.  Deadline is May 2nd.  Sabina Kulakowski Memorial Scholarship

     

    Jim Piscitelli Scholarship - Jim was a hardworking person who loved agriculture and giving back to his community.  This scholarship is dedicated in honor of his memory and is awarded up to $5000.  This scholarship will be awarded to anyone who has a passion for studying the trades or agriculture.  Deadline is April 21st.  Jim Piscitelli Scholarship

     

    The Great Race Frank D. Ruggerio Community Service Scholarship - Given to a student who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to their hometown community through a variety of service and volunteering.  Deadline is May 6th. Great Race Community Service Scholarship

     

    Becker Farms Scholarship -  One time scholarship given to a graduating senior from MCS in memory of David Becker, who was a MCS graduate, farmer, and lifelong supporter of agriculture in the community.  This award is open to any senior that has a passion for Agriculture.  Deadline is May 2nd.  Becker Farms Scholarship

     

    Don Jones Memorial Scholarship - Founded in 1975, the scholarship is given to a graduating senior from MCS for the purpose of supporting their college education.  It is named in honor of one of the founders of the Fillmore Auto Show and Flea Market, that has taken place for more than 35 years.     American Legion John Manilla Vocational Scholarship - The Scholarship was established to encourage graduating High School students to enter a vocational trade career. Deadline is May 9. John Manilla Application

     

    American Legion Steen Family Memorial Scholarship - The initial scholarship was established in memory of Eric E. Steen, brother of Myron Steen, a member of the Sons of the American Legion. This scholarship was to not only honor Eric, but to recognize Myron for all he had done for the American Legion. Since Myron’s passing, the scholarship is to honor and memorialize both Eric and Myron. Deadline is May 9. Steen Family Scholarship Application

     

    Moravia Rotary Scholarship - Open to all seniors planning to attend college or university.  Deadline is May 16, 2025 to the HS Counseling office. Rotary Scholarship

     

    James Fouts Memorial Scholarship - The scholarship will be given to a senior who works hard academically, chooses to enroll in agriculture classes, displays a commitment to the agriculture field, and demonstrates both leadership and integrity.     Ruth Ann Wood Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to a student who wishes to pursue a career in education or a career helping others and has exhibited a dedication to learning.     Ladies Auxiliary of the Moravia Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. Scholarship - The Ladies Auxiliary of the Moravia Volunteer Fire Company will award a $250.00 scholarship for college, technical school, or trade school to a graduating student of the Moravia Central School.  Applicants do NOT need to be related to anyone in the Moravia Fire Department or Auxiliary.     Moravia Locke Chamber of Commerce Scholarship - Each year the Moravia-Locke Chamber of Commerce grants an award of $500 to a deserving Moravia Central School senior who will be pursuing a career in Business.     Moravia Music Boosters Scholarship - This scholarship is set up to assist and award graduating seniors of the Moravia Central High School music program who have plans to continue their education at a community college or university after graduating from MCHS.     The APT Award -  The Alliance of Parents and Teachers of Moravia Central School will sponsor a $500.00 award for a student that has overcome an obstacle during their high school years.  The student selected will have achieved his/her goals through perseverance and determination and exhibited tolerance of others.     VFW Auxiliary Scholarship - Award to an MCS student who has been accepted into a program leading to a certification or degree in the medical field.  Deadline is May 9, 2025 to the HS Counseling office.  VFW Auxiliary Schol.

     

    Finger Lakes Runners Club Scholarship - Awarded to students who have participated in the running community during high school - track, cross-country, volunteering or running in other events.  Deadline is April 14, 2025 to the HS Counseling Office. FLRC Scholarship

     

    Cayuga-Onondaga Retirees of NYSUT (CORN) Scholarship - Awarded to a graduating senior from a public high school in the Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES District and be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program or a two-year or four-year institution at the time of the award.     Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Scholarship - The applicant must be a member of a Catholic Church and meet all of the following criteria:  Has been actively involved in their parish, school or community; Has been a positive role model to their peers, younger children and adults;  Is a practicing Roman Catholic in a parish in the Diocese of Rochester and attends Mass;  Is a college-bound high school senior or continuing ed adult; Will be enrolled in either a two- or four year accredited educational institution.   Application Due April 30, 2025.     New York Insurance Scholars - The New York Insurance Scholars program recognizes exemplary individuals who embody the qualities necessary to excel in the insurance industry. Scholars are eligible to receive a total award of up to $10,000 to be paid in equal installments for the duration of their undergraduate or graduate studies for a maximum of two years.     AES Engineering Scholarship - Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason, we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted. Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post-secondary educational facility. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.     Barbara E. Klumpp Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship program is open to all business majors, male or female, who wish to continue their education and pursue a career in business or information technology. The scholarship award is $1,000–awarded in two installments of $500 each–one for each of the first two semesters in college. Award is based on academics and initiative.     Society of Women Engineers - Eligible women completing high school curricula, who are accepted at an accredited college or university program which leads to an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
